Faraz Khalid is the Chief Executive Officer of noon, a $1 billion joint venture between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund and funded by Mohamed Alabbar. noon was born with the mission of building an ecosystem of homegrown digital companies from the region, to safeguard the future of the Middle East’s digital landscape.

With offices in Riyadh and Dubai, noon employs some of the brightest young Saudi, Emirati and Arab talent, fully focused on building a market leading platform that helps local businesses compete better. Noon’s app has over 10 million downloads and regularly tops the App Store charts.

With an MBA from The Wharton Business School, Faraz has accumulated experience in building e-commerce platforms and in creating distinctive and long-term value for stakeholders.

Prior to his appointment at noon Faraz was co-founder and Managing Director of local e- commerce startup and the Middle East’s leading fashion online retailer, Namshi. With proven experience and hands-on knowledge in building, launching and scaling successful e-commerce enterprises in the region, Faraz leads a team of dedicated professionals in driving the operations of noon.
