Randa El-Sayed (Haffar) is Managing Director and Senior International Private Banker at Citi Private Bank in New York City. Her primary focus is on private banking clients in the Gulf region, with emphasis on Kuwait. She manages relationships of high net worth families, corporations and institutions.

Since becoming a banker in 2004, Ms. El-Sayed has received the coveted Chairman Council Award 14 times, including the Hall of Fame award in 2011. Prior to joining Citi in 2000, she was at Chase Manhattan Bank, Coutts Bank, and The Bank of New York.

She has a Masters in Public Finance and Financial Management from New York University. And a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and Political Science from The American University of Beirut in Lebanon. She has also done additional executive training at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Ms. El-Sayed has an extensive community service background. She is on the Board of Trustees of American University of Beirut. She serves on the Executive Board of the Elmer and Mamdouha Bobst Charitable Foundation, which focuses on health and education philanthropy. She is an Advisory Board member of the Harvard Business Review Arabia and is on the board of the Near East Foundation, the oldest nonsectarian international development organization in the US. She also serves on the board of The Kamen Brain Tumor Foundation.
